Eliot Strommen, Senior Sales Associate

As a third generation farmer/rancher born and raised in Northeast Montana, Eliot's deep roots in agriculture meld nicely with his years of experience in a wide range of related and unique fields. Growing up on the family ranch in Northeast Montana, he knows the satisfaction of soggy calves at weaning, harvesting a bumper crop of wheat, or having a morning dew on a heavy swath of hay.  Adding to his extensive knowledge of farming and ranching are his early years with his family's auction business (graduate Western College of Auctioneering), selling, engineering, and installing irrigation equipment, even bowhunting on the Milk River.  These experiences give Eliot a unique and added perspective when it comes to evaluating land values and allows him to recognize those qualities in a property that help maximize its full value.

Eliot and his wife Penny have three sons, all born within a few miles of where Penny and Eliot were born and raised, and eleven wonderful grandchildren. That explains his sense of family and community. He understands that after a lifetime of hard work and risk taking, finding the right person to represent and sell your farm or ranch is not a decision to be taken lightly which explains his determination and attention to detail. Northeast Montana may be the hottest corner of the state when it comes to relative agricultural land values. It is truly Big Sky Country ranging from good short grass ranches to traditional dryland farms, from pivots or flood irrigated ground, to river bottom land that may offer both agricultural value plus recreational opportunities. Every property has different attributes that appeal to different potential buyers. That is where the ability to "human network" really pays off and why having someone who can recognize and market those attributes is key when deciding on a Realtor to represent you.

Eliot's business philosophy is simple: listen to the client, assess and understand their needs, then help them realize their goals by providing a service that is Aggressive, Personal, Honest, and above all Confidential. Eliot is proud to be part of Jordan Land Management which has been successfully Representing Buyers and Sellers for over 25 years specializing in Farm, Ranch and Recreational Properties. So whether you're looking to Buy or looking to Sell, enlist the services of someone who knows the country and understands the people that live in it, and just as importantly, knows the market. Feel free to give Eliot a call for a confidential assessment of your options.

Robert Finck, Sales Associate, Jordan Land ManagementRobert Finck, Sales Associate

Having received a Masters Degree from Montana State University in Animal and Range Science with an undergraduate in Wildlife and Range Management from BYU, I've had the unique opportunity to combine both the educational side of farming and ranching with many years of practical experience that can now be used to help you with the purchasing of farms and ranches for sustainable production agriculture and recreational and hunting opportunities.
I've worked and managed large cattle ranches for the last 20 years, in 7 states throughout the western U.S. My background covers all aspects of farming and ranching interests including riparian restoration, grass management and wildlife/fisheries enhancement. For ten years I managed one of the largest remaining Mexican Land Grants ranches in the country, the Guejito ranch of Southern California. Concentrating on developing a grazing management plan for 3000 head, along with range restoration and coastal fire control programs, I was awarded the Range Manager of the Year in 2010. The award was presented by the Society of Range management, during the California Stock Growers annual meeting.
My wife Haley and I and our four children live in the Gallatin Valley enjoying our time near family and being active in rodeo and 4-H. If you have any needs in selling, buying or managing your farm or ranch operation anywhere in Montana I'd like to have the opportunity to put my experience to work for you.
